Rootedness is an interactive installation that when a person touches soil on a table, the sounds are amplified and speaker produced vibrations are emitted on the person’s feet and other parts of their body.

 
“Rootedness” is an interactive installation where as a person touches the soil on the table he or she feels speaker produced vibrations emitted on their feet and other parts of their body. The project fosters a connection to a natural resource, an awareness of touch and of one’s self.
